Resettleable Traders

This compact Minecraft mod offers a unique feature - the ability to transform wandering traders into unemployed villagers. All you need to do is click on the trader while holding a bed.

How It Works

When you encounter a wandering trader in your world, you now have a choice: simply trade with them or offer them a settled lifestyle. Take a bed in your hand and right-click on the trader - they will instantly transform into a regular village resident, ready to settle in your community.

Important condition: Before conversion, be sure to purchase all the items you're interested in from the trader, as after transformation their trade offers will be permanently lost.

Configuration

The configuration file config/resettleable_traders-common.toml offers one option:

# Convert traders even if they still have available offers
DiscardOffers = false

Requirements

For the mod to function, Architectury API is required as the architectural foundation. If you're using the Fabric version, Forge Config API Port is additionally needed.
