Respiteful

Respiteful is an extension for Neapolitan and Farmer's Respite mods that integrates flavor profiles from Farmer's Respite teas and coffee into the game mechanics.

Flavor Effects

The mod introduces four unique flavor effects:

• Green Tea - grants the Vitality effect, which provides resistance to the Wither effect and increases health restoration by 50% per level.
• Yellow Tea - activates the Tenacity effect, increasing character's armor toughness.
• Black Tea - provides the Maturity effect, enhancing the nutritional value of consumed food.
• Coffee - offers the Caffeinated effect from Farmer's Respite, boosting movement and attack speed while resetting the time since last sleep.

Food Items

In addition to basic effects, Respiteful adds cakes for each tea flavor (coffee cake is already present in Farmer's Respite). As an alternative to Neapolitan's milkshakes, four types of Snow Top Tea/Coffee are available:

• Snow Top Green Tea - strengthens all beneficial effects by 1 level while halving their duration.
• Snow Top Yellow Tea - weakens all harmful effects by 1 level while doubling their duration.
• Snow Top Black Tea - reduces positive effects by 1 level but extends their duration twofold.
• Snow Top Coffee - enhances negative effects by 1 level while cutting their duration in half.

It's important to note that there are configurable limitations for effect transformation. By default, effects must last at least 20 seconds to be strengthened, and maximum extension duration is limited to 27 minutes 18 seconds (32766 ticks).

The mod also includes new beverages created using Neapolitan ingredients:

• Mint Green Tea: Mint + Green Tea
• Vanilla Milk Tea: Vanilla + Yellow Tea + Milk
• Adzuki Milk Tea: Adzuki + Black Tea + Milk
• Mocha Coffee: Chocolate + Coffee + Milk

Changes for Farmer's Respite

To ensure consistency and improve gameplay experience, Respiteful implements the following configurable changes to Farmer's Respite:

• Replacement of effects for all related food items with new flavor effects.
• Ability to consume all drinks even when character's hunger is full.
• Return of the updated Caffeinated effect for version 1.18.2.
