This modification enriches the player's arsenal with three unique armor pieces that grant special abilities when moving backward. By default, all these items can be obtained by trading with village armorers of the corresponding profession levels.

Retro Sneakers
- Trader Level: Journeyman
- Movement backward is significantly accelerated, and the default step height is increased.- The speed bonus is approximately equivalent to the Speed IV potion effect (sprinting backward is not possible).

- Note: To prevent visual stuttering during frequent speed changes, retro sneakers lock the field of view at approximately 70.0 degrees. This change will likely only be noticeable to those who use non-standard FOV settings.
Nostalgic Glasses
- Trader Level: Expert
- The user's perspective is flipped, creating the sensation of looking from the back of their head.
- The user gains a constant Regeneration effect.
- Note: Due to camera inversion, the third-person view may appear slightly unusual or disorienting.

Moon Walkers
- Trader Level: Master
- Note: The Architect's Palette mod is required for this item to appear in the game, as the trade requires moonstone. With AP installed, moonstone can be purchased from Wandering Traders by default.
- The user defies gravity while moving backward. A jump from the ground allows for free ascent for a short period. Fall damage is also reduced, and this effect stacks with enchantments like Feather Falling.
Configuration
All villager trades are enabled by default. The following configuration options are available:
- Villagers trade armor items from this mod (default: true): You can fine-tune the availability of each specific item through trade if you prefer to restrict acquisition to only some of them.
- Percentage reduction in fall damage when using moon walkers (default: 0.5).
Requires Blueprint version 6.2.0 or higher. Architect's Palette is an optional dependency.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Noon for creating the armor models and item sprites for the moon walkers and nostalgic glasses. Additionally, a special thanks to SuperMightByte for the retro sneakers item sprite!
