Revolution of Steam
Revolution of Steam represents the evolution of the SteamAgeRevolution project, which itself was a spiritual successor to Steamcraft2 - a mod that inherited ideas from the original Steamcraft from Minecraft's beta days. Some elements resemble Steamcraft2, while others are completely original.
Important information about the current development stage:
The mod's core content is still under active development but should be mostly stable. Most mechanisms that don't require more than one steam input tank work as expected. As the previous developer stated: "At this point I'm confident worlds won't explode, but content may change significantly or even be removed. You've been warned! Your help with testing is greatly appreciated."
Patchouli is an optional but HIGHLY recommended dependency. When present, an in-game guide will walk you through using the mod. It still needs improvement and may be completely rewritten in the future, but currently it's the only available documentation. Suggestions for improving the documentation are always welcome.
Please note that Alloy Forge and Vat are currently non-functional, as are pneumatic systems (using them may crash your game - please avoid them). While other multiblock structures have minor quirks, these three represent the biggest issues, so their use is not recommended at this time. We also suggest using other mods with pipes for moving liquids and items, as the built-in mechanisms are currently unstable.
Welcome to Revolution of Steam! This mod revolutionizes steam usage, adding numerous steam-powered technologies to a world previously lacking them.
Currently, the mod offers multiblock machines for staged technological progression - from simple alloy creation through manual grinding to advanced forges and steelworks for complex alloys. Steel and brass are key components of the mod, and it's recommended to master their production as soon as possible to fully enjoy all features. The boiler is another important multiblock structure that generates steam to power various mechanisms and devices.
