Roads and Roofs TFC

This project is an addon for the TerraFirmaCraft mod, with the primary goal of expanding construction possibilities through the addition of specialized blocks for creating roads and roofs. Currently, development is in the alpha stage, so only content related to road construction is available.

Available Features

The modification offers a diverse range of road surfaces, including hoggin, gravel, cobblestone, and flagstones. Special tools - mattocks - have been added to work with these materials, allowing players to compact soil and process road blocks.

The road construction process is implemented as a multi-stage system that ensures maximum realism. First, you need to prepare the foundation by compacting the soil, then lay the base layer, and only after that can you install the final surface.

Completed road structures provide players with tangible advantages - increased movement speed. Additionally, similar to path blocks, these blocks do not get covered with snow during winter periods.

The mod is fully integrated with the Patchouli system, providing detailed documentation for all recipes, and also supports JEI for convenient crafting viewing.

Planned Features

In future updates, developers plan to add various types of roofing materials, including thatch roofs, clay tiles, and wooden shingles. Concrete roads are also in development, which will provide more significant movement speed increases but will require a complex manufacturing process.
