This is an unofficial port of the Cyberware mod by Flaxbeard for Minecraft version 1.12, also based on the 1.11 port by Elucent. The authors express gratitude to the developers for their open-source work that made this project possible.
What is Cyberware?
Cyberware is a modification that allows players to enhance their own body. Using a surgery chamber, players can install "cyberware" elements—advanced technological implants. Here are just some of the possibilities this mod offers:
- Replacing the heart with a mechanical pump
- Installing an experience storage container in the skull
- Increasing oxygen supply with built-in oxygen canisters
- Complete limb replacement with robotic cyber-prosthetics
- Installing upgrades for cyber-prosthetics—from deployable claws to actuators that enhance jumping
- Replacing eyes with advanced cyber-eyes that can be upgraded for night vision, underwater vision, and target tracking
- Reinforcing bones with polymer coatings to increase damage resistance
- Installing a processor in the brain for lightning-fast reflexes that allow dodging attacks
- Compatibility with the Tough As Nails mod: cooling sweat glands to resist heat
However, such power doesn't come easily. To obtain cyberware elements, you'll need to fight monsters enhanced with technology. Additionally, using cyberware comes at a cost—either through energy consumption or by sacrificing part of your essence.
