Altars and Worship

Altars can be used for offerings to gods and goddesses or simply placed as decorative elements!

Want a statue to hold an item for you? Easy. Want to give it a name so it uses your friend's skin? No problem. Fast, powerful, and full of possibilities!

Favor System

Gods will reward or punish you depending on your favor level. Think of it as experience levels, but with ancient and powerful deities.

You gain favor with each god by making offerings or killing creatures. As your favor grows, you unlock special blessings from the gods! Be careful - low favor levels might end badly for you...

All necessary information about favor can be viewed by crafting a scroll or clicking on an altar.

Open the scroll to see favor levels, available offerings, sacrifices, and perks that can be unlocked with high favor!

Offerings and Sacrifices

You can offer items to a deity to gain favor or receive special items.

To make an offering:

• Hold the item in your main hand
• Right-click on the altar of the god or goddess

The brazier can be used to automate offerings when placed within 2 blocks of an altar.

You can also kill some creatures to gain (or lose) favor.

Use the favor scroll to see available offerings and sacrifices.

Perks and Blessings

These are special blessings (or curses) from the gods that unlock as you gain (or lose) favor. Use the favor scroll to learn more!

Important Points

• The favor system only works with a datapack! Don't forget to also download the resource pack!
• You lose a small amount of favor each day. With negative favor, you slowly return to level 0
• Many creatures are considered sacred, and killing them will result in loss of a small amount of favor. Read the favor scroll carefully!
