Scalar Utils (Discontinued)

The Scalar team has compiled a collection of interesting ideas for improving Minecraft that combine decorative elements with practical utility, especially when creating modpacks.

Originally, this project was conceived as a set of small mods planned for release in a package called "Scalar Summer 2018 Slam," but developers ultimately settled on one large mod for easier management.

Current Status

Currently, the mod demonstrates concepts rather than offering full functionality. Some versions may be unstable! Development is periodically paused.

Important: The mod runs on Forge version 1.12.2 - 14.23.4.2760 (minimum version). Older versions will cause the game to crash!

A sequel - Scalar Utils II - has been released with clearer direction.

Development Plans

There are considerations to split the mod into 2-4 thematic projects for easier maintenance. The main content will remain in the primary mod, but elements like crops, machines, and experimental features may be separated into individual projects.

Mod development has been paused since May 6, 2019.
