The core concept of ScavCraft liberates you from depending on traditional mining for resources. While ore extraction through mining remains efficient, you now have a viable alternative. Imagine playing a modpack where the main action unfolds in, say, an abandoned city—your objective now shifts to exploring the world and finding various items instead of conventional ore digging.

The key feature of this mod is that practically any found object can be disassembled into its component materials. This opens up numerous possibilities: if you craft an unwanted item by mistake, it can always be recycled. The same applies to everything you discover while exploring the surrounding environment.

This modification pairs exceptionally well with Lost Cities, allowing you to find entire cities and dismantle objects within them to obtain resources.
