SCP-075, The Corrosive Snail

This mod introduces to Minecraft a dangerous creature from the SCP universe - SCP-075, also known as The Corrosive Snail. This entity is fundamentally different from ordinary mobs due to its unique abilities and behavior.

The Corrosive Snail possesses remarkable mobility - it can climb vertical surfaces and perform jumps similar to a spider. It leaves behind a trail of corrosive particles everywhere it goes, posing a danger to the surroundings. Only one such snail can exist in the world at any given time.

The creature has high damage resistance and moves with unexpected speed for its kind. When attacking, SCP-075 inflicts the "Wither" and "Corrosion" effects on its target. An interesting feature is the snail's ability to enter a dormant state when standing on sand, red sand, or soul sand. In this state, it appears harmless, but any attempt to attack it or change the block beneath it instantly awakens the monster.

SCP-075 is a large snail with a muscular foot resembling a six-fingered clawed hand. Despite its size, it moves alarmingly fast, can destroy blocks in front of itself, and attacks victims by applying dangerous effects. In its dormant state, the snail can be transported using boats or minecarts, allowing for its containment.

Technical Features

The mod was created using MCreator and requires Geckolib installation for proper operation. SCP-075 spawns on the surface of the overworld during nighttime, with only one instance of this creature able to exist in the world.
