SCP-906, Scouring Hive
Dangerous Creature from the SCP Universe
This mod adds a new monster to Minecraft based on the SCP universe. SCP-906, also known as Scouring Hive, is a humanoid entity composed entirely of writhing worms. This monster has high health and deals significant damage, leaving behind a trail of corrosive particles.
Features and Behavior
SCP-906 moves slowly but relentlessly pursues its target. When attacked or killed, the entity breaks apart into swarms of worms that continue to attack the player. The monster inflicts the "Corrosion" effect and can spit a mass of worms that explodes on impact, creating living entities.
Worm Mechanics
When SCP-906 takes damage near a player, there's a 50% chance of spawning a worm. Upon death, the entity completely disintegrates into nine worms if a player is nearby. The worms act as independent entities, pursuing the same target as their host.
Worm Collection
Worms can be collected by right-clicking with an empty bottle, obtaining a "Bottle of Worms". However, drinking this liquid instantly kills the player.
Spawning Conditions
SCP-906 can spawn anywhere in the overworld like a normal monster. However, only one instance of this entity can exist at a time.
Technical Requirements
The mod requires Geckolib to function. It's recommended to use the latest versions of Minecraft to access all features.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why are there console messages? Most mobs use special spawning conditions, which creates console messages when these conditions are active.
Why can't I summon the mob? Some mobs only spawn above Y level 60, others below. Most only work in the overworld.
Why are features missing in different versions? Not all MCreator features are available or the same across different Minecraft versions. For example, version 1.19.2 doesn't support shields and improved structure generation.
Permissions
