Second Chance

This modification offers simple yet effective protection against sudden death in Minecraft. It adjusts the health mechanics of characters and pets, preventing instant kills when you or your companion are near full health. The system gives you extra seconds to react when facing powerful enemies or dangerous situations.

IMPORTANT: This protective system does not apply to fall damage, falling blocks, void damage, and situations where players attack others' pets. In such cases, standard game mechanics apply.

You can configure the mod's operation using configuration files second-chance.properties and second_chance_config.json, where you can set your own activation threshold for the protection.

For the Forge version of the game, there is a separate mod release.
