SecondBrain

Adding through the Fabric platform technology that fills the Minecraft world with AI-powered characters. This modification provides the ability to create NPCs whose behavior is controlled by large language models. Response to chat messages and execution of basic player actions are the main capabilities of the characters.

(12.09.25) Work is underway to expand functional capabilities for NPCs. Redesign of function calling methods is in progress...

Requirements

• Minecraft Version: 1.21.1
• Dependencies: Fabric API and owo-lib required on both client and server
• Runtime requirements: Ollama server or Player2 App

Installation Instructions

• Download: Get the latest SecondBrain release
• Installation process: Place the jar file inside the mods folder on both server and client Fabric
• Launch: Activate Minecraft client and server to complete installation

Working with Ollama

Note: Player must have operator status to execute commands

Graphical Interface

GUI opens after using /secondbrain command. The special menu contains:

• creating new NPCs and spawning them in the world
• removing existing characters
• editing settings and basic configuration

Local Language Models

1. Download Ollama: Visit the official site and download distribution compatible with your operating system
2. Installation and activation: Complete setup through installation wizard and run in background
3. Connection: In interface specify full URL address of ollama server (for local installation leave default value)
