Seiðr - Simple Norse Magic

Seiðr is a concise magic mod drawing inspiration from Norse mythology. Unlike many other magic modifications, it lacks complex mechanics like mana bars - everything is implemented in the spirit of vanilla Minecraft, making the mod universal and easy to integrate into any modpacks.

The main focus is on the Galðr branch - magic of incantations spoken through singing. Future updates plan to expand with other branches of Norse magic.

How does the magic work?

In the Minecraft world, you will find special tablets, similar to armor trims, which vary depending on the biome where they are found. These artifacts are useless by themselves but contain ancient writings.

To unleash their true power, place the tablet in the center of a crafting table, surrounding it with paper. This will create scrolls containing magical energy activated through chanting incantations.

Each spell requires time for chanting, after which the scroll activates. Different scrolls have varying duration and cooldown times depending on the effect. There are also enhanced versions of standard spells that are rarer but more effective.

Important: tablets can be duplicated similarly to armor trims using gold, emeralds, or diamonds.
