Ships - Illager Ships in Minecraft

This datapack introduces a completely new type of dungeon to the game - pirate ships inhabited by illagers who can now use boats for naval patrols.

Naval Structures

Single Ships

Ships are designed to resemble actual shipwrecks and are constructed from various wood types. On board, you'll encounter pillagers, vindicators, and valuable loot similar to what can be found in regular shipwrecks. Maps discovered on these vessels point the way to pillager outposts.

Entire Fleets

Fleets represent group structures consisting of multiple ships. Each vessel has an evoker, and illagers will continuously spawn until all evokers are eliminated. Maps from fleets lead to woodland mansions.

Illager Naval Patrols

Illagers have now mastered seafaring! If an illager finds themselves in water, they will board a boat and begin patrolling nearby waters. Upon spotting an enemy, the patrol ceases and pursuit begins. Single ships are accompanied by several patrol boats, making boarding more challenging, while fleets are guarded by even more numerous patrols.

IMPORTANT: The illager boat mechanic is experimental, may impact performance, and might not work correctly when mods, plugins, or other datapacks are installed! To disable or limit AI boats, use the command "/function ships:gamerules" to modify game rules.
