Shiv mod utilizes a set of hacks and technical tricks to restore compatibility with other modifications in the Quilt environment. To achieve this goal, it directly modifies or completely removes mixins from third-party developers with subsequent replacement by compatible software solutions. This is sort of an adapter, but much more risky and narrowly targeted.

IMPORTANT: For this mod to work, Minecraft must be running in a JDK environment since JRE doesn't support the attach API!

If any modification stops working correctly with Shiv installed, direct complaints to the developers of this project, not to the authors of original mods. All crash reports and error messages should be published on the project's GitHub page.
