Shrimps!
The Shrimps! modification introduces a new aquatic creature that lives at the bottom of water bodies - shrimp! These creatures blend seamlessly with the vanilla Minecraft style and are available in 17 different color variants.
What can you do with shrimp?
Shrimp can be eaten or hunted for their shells. The collected shells are used to create a unique set of tools and armor. Although this armor isn't particularly durable, it has special properties - when in water, it grants the player beneficial effects such as dolphin's grace for increased swimming speed.
Tools and weapons made from shrimp shells are slightly more durable than their stone counterparts, but have an important advantage - they deal significantly more damage to aquatic mobs.
Culinary possibilities
Various dishes can be prepared from shrimp:
- Shrimp soup
- Grilled shrimp
- Smoked shrimp
- Shrimp sandwich
- Raw shrimp
Useful tips
To get a cracked shell, right-click with a shell on a stone-type block (stone, granite, diorite, etc.). To view all recipes, it's recommended to use the JEI modification.
