Sign Searcher Updated - Sign Search in Minecraft

This mod is an updated version of Sign Searcher with support for new features including multilingual capabilities. It's designed to simplify the search for needed items on multiplayer markets where each player may have their own shop or stall.

Main Purpose

Sign Searcher helps find signs with text matching your query. This is especially useful on large servers with developed trading systems when searching for specific goods can be time-consuming.

Installation

Requires Fabric and Fabric API to be installed. Then copy the .jar file corresponding to your game version to the mods folder in your game directory.

Command Usage

The mod adds client-side commands for search management:

• /signsearch <query> - starts search for the specified text (spaces can be used without quotes) and highlights all matching signs
• /signsearch - clears the current query and removes highlighting from all signs

Compatibility with Other Mods

Due to its work with the rendering system, Sign Searcher may conflict with some optimization mods, but in most cases the issue can be resolved:

• Sodium - fully compatible, maintained by the author (tested on version 5.3)
• Optifine / Optifabric - not tested, likely incompatible, no support provided
• Enhanced Block Entities - to work, disable the "Improved signs" option in the mod settings
