Silent's Gems - Diversity of Precious Stones

Discover the world of colorful gems with Silent's Gems! This addon introduces a total of 16 unique precious stones to the game, which can be used to create various building materials and useful items.

Main Features

The mod offers full integration with Silent Gear without the need for additional resource packs. You'll get access to a huge number of blocks: from ore deposits to decorative bricks, lamps, and much more.

System Requirements

Silent Lib is mandatory for the mod to work. Silent Gear is not required but highly recommended for full immersion in gameplay.

Precious Stones

16 types of gems are distributed across the three Minecraft dimensions with partial overlap. Some stones from the Nether and the End can sometimes be found in the overworld.

Each dimension has its own ore blocks. You can configure gem generation to your liking: change frequency of appearance, distribution across worlds, or completely disable certain types.

Gem Specializations

Each precious stone has its own specialization that determines its strengths. Within their role, gems demonstrate enhanced characteristics while maintaining unique features.

• Durability - increased tool and armor durability. Perfect for repairs and area-of-effect tools (hammers, excavators).
  • Ruby, Carnelian
• Speed - accelerated resource gathering. Excellent for basic tools (pickaxes, shovels, axes).
  • Topaz, Citrine, Heliodor
• Damage - increased melee and ranged damage. Great choice for weapons (swords, bows).
  • Peridot, Moldavite, Rose Quartz
• Protection - improved armor stats. Created specifically for... armor.
  • Sapphire, Iolite, Ammolite
• All-rounders - balanced stats in all categories. Suitable when you need a diverse set of characteristics.
  • Turquoise, Kyanite, Alexandrite, Black/White Diamond

Rare Gems

Some stones are much rarer than others. The two diamond varieties are exceptionally strong in all characteristics, but their extraction requires significant effort. Using a hammer and prospector hammer from Silent Gear will significantly facilitate the search.

• Black Diamonds - found at shallow depths in the Nether and occur less frequently than other stones. You'll definitely find them while mining ancient debris. Characterized by dark color with a slight orange hue.
• White Diamonds - located in the depths of the End, which will require active excavation. Have a pale color with a violet tint.

Gem Bag

Gem Bags are convenient bags that automatically collect and store mined gems (not applicable to ores). This frees up inventory space for continued resource gathering.

Glowroses

Glowroses are natural flowers that emit light and are found throughout the world. Their lighting is sufficient to prevent mob spawns at a distance of two blocks (configurable).

Glowroses can be planted in regular flower pots. Potted varieties create significantly more light compared to outdoor ones.

Additional Useful Items

• Summon Kitty - creates a tamed cat. Can be renamed in an anvil, similar to spawn eggs.
• Summon Puppy - creates a tamed dog. Also can be renamed in an anvil.
• Flower Basket - works on the principle of gem bags but collects flowers. When mining flowers, they are automatically placed in the basket.
