SilkSigns
A Paper plugin that enables collecting written signs using the Silk Touch enchantment.
Main Features
- Works with floor signs, wall signs, and hanging signs
- Preserves text on both front and back sides
- Optionally removes wax coating from signs when dropped as items
- Sign content is copied to item description for easy identification in inventory
- Permissions for permanent dropping of written signs, even without Silk Touch and in creative mode
- Customizable name format and enchantment glow for written signs
- Customizable tool enchantment and its level
Installation and Usage
Requires Paper or a fork for Minecraft 1.20.1+ and Java 21+
- Download the latest version
- Place the file in the plugins folder
- Run the server once and review the created
SilkSigns/config.ymlfile for configuration settings - Grant additional permissions for further plugin configuration for individual players
