Simple Covers
The Simple Covers modification adds basic micro-blocks to the game that work through the MCMultipart system. This allows creating various decorative elements such as panels, covers, and other small details.
Current Status
The project is in alpha testing stage but already has almost all planned features. The developers plan to move the mod to beta status in the near future.
Important Information About Version 0.2
Version 0.2 brought significant changes to the internal structure and data storage format. If you used previous alpha versions in worlds important to you:
- Be sure to create backups before updating!
- Micro-blocks already placed in the world should automatically convert to the new format
- Micro-block items in inventory will require manual conversion by placing them in a crafting grid
- Old versions of items will have a special icon and text and cannot be placed until converted
- The update system will be removed in the future - make sure to visit all chunks with micro-blocks and convert all items now

Future Plans
- Adding IMC API for other mods to register additional materials
The modification has open source code and is distributed under the LGPLv3 license. It can be freely distributed and included in modpacks (but it's recommended to wait for a more stable version).
