Simple Ignore
Mod Features
This mod is CLIENT SIDE ONLY and is particularly useful when playing multiplayer with other players.
Simple Ignore adds a simple but effective message filtering feature. After adding specific words or phrases to the configuration, you will no longer receive messages containing these elements.
How to Use
Ignoring messages from specific players:
Use the format "<NICKNAME>". For example, "<spamer>". All messages from the player with nickname "spamer" will be automatically hidden until you remove them from the ignore list. Note: Private messages (whispers) from this player are not blocked.
Filtering unwanted words:
Simply add any word you want to filter. Messages containing this word will not appear in your chat.
Hiding system notifications:
To disable player join/leave messages, use phrases like "joined the game" or "left the game" (or similar phrases used on your server).
Configuration
Modifying the filter list is done directly through the Minecraft client. Go to "Mod Options" → select "Simple Ignore" → click "Config" → "filter" section → add or remove desired words.
The mod supports multiple languages and ensures proper filtering regardless of the message language.
Important information: The mod has not been tested on Minecraft versions below 1.12.2. If you encounter any bugs, please report them in the issue tracker.
