Simple Light Overlay (Rift/Forge)

This mod provides you with a convenient way to visualize the light level in your Minecraft world. When you activate the special key combination (default F12), an informational grid appears on the screen, showing the current light level of blocks in the vicinity.

The display radius of the light grid is approximately 7 blocks from your position. If you need to change the viewing area, simply use the PageUp or PageDown keys while the overlay is active.

Also available is an additional "Spawn Monitoring" mode, which is activated by simultaneously pressing the Shift key and the main combination. In this mode, the color scheme changes: red color shows dangerous zones where ATTENTION - hostile mobs can spawn, and green - safe areas.

It's important to note that the mod evaluates only the light level, without checking other factors affecting creature spawn.

This modification works well with other mods and can be included in packs. Developers are open to suggestions for improving functionality.
