Simple Radio
The Simple Radio modification is an extension for Simple Voice Chat that adds a radio communication system to Minecraft. Now you can communicate with friends over long distances using different frequencies for voice message transmission.

Support for other Minecraft versions? Simple Radio is planned to be ported to all versions supported by Simple Voice Chat, including versions from 1.12.2 to recent releases.
Support for other loaders? Probably not. Each additional loader significantly increases development workload due to the need for testing each version and loader combination.
