Simple Voice Chat Radio
This server-side addon for the Simple Voice Chat mod on the Fabric platform adds a special radio block to Minecraft that can play MP3 internet radio streams directly in the game.
Important Information
Please note that this mod may not work with all MP3 streams. For proper playback, the stream must be compatible with the JLayer library. If your selected radio station doesn't play, this is not considered a mod error.
How to Use
- Install this mod together with the main Simple Voice Chat mod on the server
- Make sure the voice chat is configured correctly
- Find the MP3 stream URL of your favorite radio station
- Enter the command
/radio create "<stream-url" "<station-name>"to create a radio block - Place the radio block in the world
- Right-click the block to turn it on
Available Commands
/radio create "<stream-url" "<station-name>" [radius]- Gives you a radio block playing the specified MP3 stream. The radius parameter allows you to set the distance at which the radio can be heard, otherwise the default value from the configuration is used
Finding Radio Stations
Stream URLs can usually be found on radio stations' official websites. You can also use specialized resources like streamurl.link to find suitable streams.
