Simple AutoFish - Automatic Fishing for Minecraft Fabric

A modification for Minecraft Fabric that fully automates the fishing process. The mod automatically hooks fish and recasts the fishing rod when prey bites. The perfect solution for AFK fishing in survival mode!

How to Use

1. Install the mod in the Fabric mods folder
2. Launch Minecraft with Fabric loader
3. Equip a fishing rod in your main hand
4. Press R to toggle automatic fishing
5. Cast the rod manually the first time (or let the mod do it)
6. Enjoy AFK fishing! The mod will handle everything automatically

Controls

• R Key - Enable/disable automatic fishing
• Chat Messages - Show current status when toggled

Technical Features

Bite Detection

The mod detects fish bites in two ways:

1. Checking the caughtFish field in FishingBobberEntity
2. Backup method: monitoring float velocity changes (sudden jerks)

Timing System

• Recast Delay: 10 ticks (0.5 seconds) after hooking
• Minimum Action Delay: 5 ticks between any actions
• Prevents double-firing and ensures smooth operation

Special Case Handling

• ✅ Fishing rod broke → Automatic fishing stops
• ✅ Player changed items → Automatic fishing stops
• ✅ Function disabled → All automation stops immediately
• ✅ No suitable water for casting → Skips casting
• ✅ Rod durability check → Prevents breaking
