How It Works

Broad Axes

Broad axes are enlarged and slower versions of regular axes. Unlike standard tools that chop individual logs, broad axes fell entire trees simultaneously. However, this power comes at a cost - they chop 2 times slower, and the Efficiency enchantment's effectiveness is reduced by 80%.

To obtain a broad axe, you first need to find a new smithing table template to upgrade your regular axe. This template can be found in villages: more often in weaponsmith, toolsmith, and armorer houses, less often in regular residential houses.

Using the template and a block of appropriate material on the smithing table, you can transform your regular axe into a new broad axe.

Trimming

Trimming is a new enchantment for broad axes that allows you to chop down all leaves from trees simultaneously, working similarly to fast leaf decay mods.
