Simply Canteens
The Simply Canteens mod offers a convenient system of tiered canteens for efficient thirst management in the game. This is a simple and reliable solution for your character's hydration needs.
Main Features
The modification features four types of canteens made from different materials: copper, iron, gold, and diamond. Each subsequent tier offers greater capacity and durability compared to the previous one.
Crafting and Usage
Crafting canteens requires leather and the corresponding metal ingot. Empty canteens can be refilled with water from any source blocks.
Canteen Specifications:
- Copper Canteen - 2 uses, crafted with leather and copper ingots
- Iron Canteen - 3 uses, requires leather, copper canteen, and iron ingots
- Gold Canteen - 4 uses, crafted with leather, iron canteen, and gold ingots
- Diamond Canteen - 5 uses, crafted with leather, gold canteen, and diamonds
Compatibility
The mod is designed to work with modifications that add thirst systems, such as Tough as Nails or Thirst was Taken. For proper functionality, canteens need to be added to the configuration files of the mods you use.
Item Identifiers
Each fill level of the canteen has its own identifier, allowing for individual hydration level customization:
Diamond Canteens: full_diamond_canteen four_fifth_full_diamond_canteen three_fifth_full_diamond_canteen two_fifth_full_diamond_canteen one_fifth_full_diamond_canteen
