Simply Lock

Enhance the standard Minecraft gameplay with a chest locking system!

Usage Guide

Required items: Lock and Book and Quill

Step 1: Creating a Lock

Method 1: Standard crafting recipe

The first method uses the "Recipe Unlocking" achievement, which may be incompatible with some mods like NERB (Not Enough Recipe Book). In such cases, use Method 2

Method 2: Drop crafting

You need to arrange the items as shown in the demonstration

Step 2: Creating a Password

Write your password in the Book and Quill (DO NOT SIGN THE BOOK)

Step 3: Installing the Lock on the Chest

• Place the Book and Quill in the FIRST slot of the chest
• Then place the Lock on top of or next to the chest

Important Features

After locking the chest, ANY item with the same NAME as the PASSWORD entered in the Book can open the chest

To remove the lock, use the key to open the locked chest, then remove the Book from the first slot and place the Lock on top of or next to the chest again

The locked chest cannot be broken by the player, but an explosion from TNT or a Creeper can still destroy it. It is recommended to protect the chest with water
