skin overrides

A powerful tool for instant skin and cape changes in Minecraft!

With the skin overrides mod, you can change the appearance of your character or other players at any moment. This feature is excellent for various gaming situations - from role-playing games to creative experiments with character design.

Access to the override control panel opens through the mod menu or by pressing a hotkey (default - O). In this interface, you can configure, add, or remove skin and cape changes for any player.

Personal Library

You can create your own collection of skins and capes in a personal library. This allows easy switching between different character design options.

Networking Capabilities

If the mod is installed on the server, when using library overrides, all players will be able to see the changes, even if they don't have this mod! Similarly, when changing your own skin through the mod, the update will be visible to all online players if the mod is installed on the server.

Compatibility

The mod supports a wide range of Minecraft versions - starting from 1.14.4. For technical reasons, the interface and server behavior are available only from version 1.19.4 and above.

skin overrides also maintains compatibility with other mods related to character customization, such as ears and 3D skin layers.
