Skylight Lanterns - Lanterns with Sky Light

This mod is a simple yet functional addition that introduces a special lantern into the game capable of emitting natural sunlight, as if there were an opening in the ceiling directly to the sky.

The main idea behind creating this mod was to solve the problem of growing trees from the Dynamic Trees mod in underground conditions where natural lighting is absent.

The lantern emits genuine Minecraft sky light, which allows for growing crops, damaging undead mobs, and activating daylight sensors. It's important to note that this is exactly the type of lighting that comes from the sky, so it doesn't prevent mob spawns at night. Think of it as a portable "window to the sky". Accordingly, during nighttime hours, the lantern won't emit daylight. At the same time, the block also emits regular block light, allowing it to be used as a standard lantern as well.

The design of the skylight lantern is carefully crafted to harmoniously blend with the aesthetic of vanilla Minecraft. The block placement rules completely match those of standard lanterns from the base game.
