Slabs Expanded - Expanding Slab Capabilities in Minecraft

This mod significantly expands the functionality of slabs, adding features that, in the developer's opinion, should have been in the base game.

Creating Slab Variants for Every Block

The mod adds slabs for virtually all existing blocks in Minecraft. The new slabs retain the properties of the original blocks, including durability, explosion resistance, and light levels.

Stacking Different Slabs in One Block

One of the key features of the mod is the ability to combine different types of slabs into one double block. This mechanic has several properties:

• The durability of the resulting double block is calculated based on the slabs it's composed of
• When mined, the block drops as the original slabs
• For the function to work, slabs must be included in the special slabs.json list

Converting Slabs Back into Blocks

The mod allows crafting full blocks back from slabs. This works with both slabs from this mod and original Minecraft slabs.
