Slimes and Slimebooks
This splendid addon for Splendid Slimes introduces two new types of slimes inspired by the Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks modification: the Ink Slime and the Runic Slime!
Ink Slime
Diet: This slime's favorite treat is Arcane Essence, but it also enjoys Arcane Debris, Cinder Essence, and any items used for selecting magical elements (blood bottle, poisoned potato, lightning bottle, and similar).
Behavior:
- Highly hostile towards all Iron's Spells mages and attacks them with Magic Missile when nearby
- Sometimes levitates due to unstable magical energy inside
- Instantly teleports to food sources when hungry and detects them
Resources: Their sediment can transform into any type of magical ink, with result rarity depending on the ink's power
How to obtain: Ink Slime Hearts can be acquired in three ways:
- Find in chests throughout all Iron's Spells dungeons
- Create in the Slime Press using 64 units of their sediment
- Can also be produced by pressing Rare Ink along with a Slimy Heart in the Slime Press
Runic Slime
Diet: Prefers Arcane Debris but also consumes Arcane Essence, Cinder Essence, and items for selecting magical elements
Behavior:
- Equally hostile towards Iron's Spells mages, attacking them with Eldritch Blast upon detection
- Possesses such powerful magical energy that merging with any other slime causes instability - transformation into Largo is impossible
Resources: Their sediment can transform into any type of runestone, with the blank variant appearing slightly more often
How to obtain: The only way to obtain their heart is by pressing a blank runestone together with an Ink Slime Heart in the Slime Press

Using this addon requires installation of the base Splendid Slimes and Iron's Spells and Spellbooks modifications.
