Smart Chunk Loader
Smart Chunk Loader is a data pack that significantly improves Minecraft performance by optimizing chunk loading and unloading. In the standard game, generating new territories often causes FPS drops and lag, but this pack solves this problem.
How does it work?
Instead of processing chunks every game tick, the system uses a timer that activates checks only once every 5 seconds. This allows loading only the areas that players actually need at the moment and timely freeing memory from unnecessary chunks. As a result, the load on the server or client is reduced, which positively affects gameplay smoothness.
What does this data pack NOT do?
It's important to understand that Smart Chunk Loader does not speed up chunk generation itself. Its task is to optimize resource distribution so that the system doesn't get overloaded with simultaneous processing of multiple areas. If you need faster world generation algorithms, pay attention to specialized mods like C2ME and Noisium.
