Decorate Your World with Snow on Stairs, Slabs, and Many Other Blocks!

This datapack adds a simple and intuitive mechanism for creating snow cover on various building blocks. No longer settle for standard decoration options - now you can make your winter landscape even more realistic and cozy.

❄ How to Use?

While sneaking, right-click on any supported block while holding a snow layer. The block will instantly transform into a "snowy" version! This works with many different surfaces, from ordinary stairs to stone slabs and other building elements.

Don't forget to install the accompanying resource pack, otherwise you won't see the visual changes. Just a few simple steps - and your world will shine in a new way!

📦 Installation Process

Unzip the ZIP file archive - you will find the datapack and resource pack inside.

Datapack: When creating a new world, go to the "More" tab, then "Data Packs". Drag and drop the snow_on_stairs-datapack-vX.X-mcVersion file into the window, enable it, and click "Done".

Resource Pack: From the main menu or after entering a world, select "Options", then "Resource Packs...". Add the snow_on_stairs-resourcepack-vX.X-mcVersion file, enable it, and complete the setup.

❄ Available Blocks

The complete list of compatible blocks can be viewed in the #snow_on_stairs:snowable tag. This information is available directly in the game interface. The datapack's functionality automatically extends to any modded blocks that are already included in standard Minecraft tags (for example, stairs).
