Snowy Sniffer

When a Sniffer finds itself in snowfall or cold biomes, its back becomes covered with a snowy white layer. This resembles how large mammals in nature accumulate snow during winter storms.

If you don't like the snow cover, you can right-click with a shovel to return the Sniffer to its original appearance. This will drop several snowballs. The snow can also melt from various heat sources - this is particularly useful for protecting baby sniffers from the cold.

The mod adds interesting environmental interaction, demonstrating how significant the revival of this species from extinction is and its adaptation to the modern world in any weather!

There are several more entertaining features related to the Snowy Sniffer's interaction with the game world that you'll need to discover on your own.

Important Information

Warning: For multiplayer functionality, the mod must be installed on both client and server. When used only on the client, the snow layer will appear exclusively during direct snowfall. You can also rename the Sniffer to "Snowy" to make the snowy appearance permanent.
