So It Burns

A mod about light, fire, and everything that can burn

This mod was originally created as an addition to True Darkness, providing the player with tools for more convenient space lighting. Additionally, it adds several useful functions related to fire and illumination.

Main Elements

Bonfire: Created by placing 4 wooden logs (on the right in the image) in a cross pattern on the ground:

After that, you need to use flint and steel on the center block. The bonfire provides very large illumination and sets nearby undead on fire. To maintain the fire, fuel is required (any types of logs), which burns quite slowly.

Torches in wooden and glass casing: Mostly decorative blocks, but wooden torches can be launched from a special torch-throwing device (bottom left in the image).

Incense burner: When placed, provides a small amount of light. Various incenses can be used (visible in item frames), which give certain potion effects for a long duration:

• Relaxing: regeneration and mining fatigue
• Invigorating: strength and reduced resistance (taking more damage)
• Intoxicating: poison and speed

Wooden logs: Used for creating bonfires. Burn slightly longer than regular logs in a furnace (equivalent to 4 logs and dirt).

Torch-throwing device: Allows launching cased torches over long distances.

Stone stick: Crafted from cobblestone, used for making regular vanilla torches from coal, charcoal, cactus, and wool.
