Sodium Delight

Sodium Delight is a Minecraft modification that combines the optimization capabilities of Sodium (or Embeddium) with the content of the Farmer's Delight mod, ensuring compatibility between them and offering additional settings to enhance game performance.

Main Features

The mod is in the early development stage (alpha version) and already includes basic optimization functions. Specifically, it implements a Level of Detail (LOD) system that replaces plants and crops with simplified cube models if they are beyond a certain distance from the player. This is particularly useful in automated farms with numerous plants, where rendering each object can strain the graphics card.

Thanks to this approach, the mod increases frame rate (FPS) by 2-3 units in scenarios with dense vegetation, such as when using mods like Farmer's Delight. At the same time, the visual clarity of crops near the player is preserved, and gameplay becomes smoother.

Future Plans

The developers plan to expand the mod's functionality in future updates by adding additional optimization parameters and performance improvements for visually intensive environments.
