Imagine something similar, but applied to Minecraft mobs! This mod allows you to literally "scoop out" brains from creatures using a special "nobrains" name tag. After this procedure, the mob turns into a brainless creature devoid of artificial intelligence.

If you change your mind and want to restore everything as it was - no problem! Simply apply the "givebrains" name tag, and the mob will regain consciousness. It's easier than making a single-serving microwave mac and cheese - you don't even need to add water!

The main goal of this plugin is to reduce server load from villager and piglin AI on large multiplayer projects where many players have trading and bartering systems set up.

A logical question arises: how will trading and bartering work then? It's very simple:

Piglins continue to function normally. You may not notice significant performance improvements unless your server hosts a huge number of these creatures. However, you have the option to disable AI for piglins outside the Nether, which will prevent them from turning into zombie piglins. In this case, you can configure whether they will exchange items outside the Nether without AI or simply become decorative elements.

Villagers continue to restock twice a day by default. If desired, you can increase the restocking frequency (this can become an additional incentive for players to "lighten" their traders).

Time restrictions for restocking are also available. By default, traders update their assortment every 20/n minutes (where n is the number of daily restocks). But there are other modes:

• "Daytime hours only" - restocking every 10/n minutes, but exclusively from 6 AM to 6 PM
• "Working hours only" - restocking every 5.83/n minutes, but only from 8 AM to 3 PM

Permission system:

• sds - provides full access to all functionality
  • sds.noBrains - allows player to perform lobotomy on any mobs
  • sds.giveBrains - allows player to restore consciousness to any mobs
  • sds.villager - allows player to perform/cancel lobotomy on villagers
    • sds.villager.noBrains - allows player to perform lobotomy on villagers
    • sds.villager.giveBrains - allows player to cancel lobotomy on villagers
  • sds.piglin - allows player to perform/cancel lobotomy on piglins
    • sds.piglin.noBrains - allows player to perform lobotomy on piglins
    • sds.piglin.giveBrains - allows player to cancel lobotomy on piglins
