Soul Summoning for Creature Resurrection

Mod Image

Soul Shards Respawn is an exciting addition that unlocks the ability to collect the souls of defeated creatures into special crystal fragments.

Getting Started

By default, the mod's functionality becomes available after entering the Nether. To obtain your first soul shard, you need to build a special structure and click on its center with a diamond:

Creating a Soul Shard

The first monster you kill with the shard in your main hand or offhand slot will bind it to that creature type. From then on, it will only accumulate souls from those specific beings.

If you want to speed up the soul gathering process, imagine this possibility: you can interact with mob spawners containing the bound entity to absorb them and instantly add 200 souls to the shard (amount is configurable).

For efficient soul collection, be sure to pay attention to the Vile Sword, which adds an extra soul for each enemy killed, and the Soul Stealer enchantment, increasing this value by one soul per level. Maximum you can get up to 7 souls per kill (1 base + 1 from Vile Sword and +5 from the highest Soul Stealer level).

Development and Shard Levels

As you progress through the levels, you'll gain access to creating the Soul Cage - a device that, when equipped with a shard, begins endlessly summoning the bound creature.

Development Benefits

This is an updated version of the famous Soul Shards: The Old Ways mod, completely rewritten and improved for the modern game version. The project was separated into a standalone one due to the long inactivity of the original developer.
