Mod Overview

SoulHome provides you with a portable base that's always available wherever you go in the game. This modification draws inspiration from Spectre Key by Random Things. It's also worth noting that the concept was perfectly complemented by the magic system from Sarah Lin's book of the same name, which helped fully realize the mod's core idea.

Key Features

A Personal Dimension Just For You!

In this modification, your soul becomes an entire dimension tied to your account's unique identifier. This space resembles a skyblock-style map and serves as your safe zone where you possess complete control. Nothing can harm you here - even falling into the void will simply return you to the point from which you entered your soul.

Currently, the mod includes only two items: a guidebook based on Patchouli and a special key. By holding the use button on the key for the entire activation duration, you and all entities within the expanding circle at your feet will be transported to your soul. This mechanism allows you to bring friends and livestock with you.

The modification is specifically designed with minimal requirements to start using. Simply combine an ender pearl with three iron ingots using a standard crafting recipe to get your SoulKey. Then combining the key with a book will give you a guide to using the mod - without consuming the key itself.

Planned Functions

Building Multiblock Structures for Buffs

For example, building a farm in a specific multiblock configuration could increase saturation from consumed food. Or creating an armory might provide a bonus to armor toughness. The goal is to provide unique buffs unavailable through standard potions, though some of those might also appear in the future.

Compatibility with Other Mods

Patchouli - used to create a quality in-game encyclopedia and hint system. This modification uses achievements and Patchouli to guide the small amount of available progression.
