Special Golems
Special Golems Mod - Loyal Protectors in the Minecraft World
The Special Golems modification expands the game world by adding various golems created in the spirit of vanilla Minecraft style. These mechanical guardians will become reliable protectors against hostile creatures.
Four Unique Golems
The modification features four types of golems: Clay Golem, Terracotta Golem, Gold Golem, and Diamond Golem. Each of them has unique characteristics and abilities.
Clay and Terracotta Golems
Characteristics (Difficulty: Normal)
- Height: 1.95 blocks
- Health: 20 units
- Terracotta golem has 2 armor points
- Armor toughness: 2
- Terracotta golem attack strength: 2
- Clay golem attack strength: 1
- Knockback resistance: 20%
- Speed: 0.35
- Average sight range
Special Features
- Can pick up items, wear armor, and wield weapons
- Drop items when owner presses Shift+RMB
- Burning clay golem turns into terracotta golem
- Terracotta golem is immune to fire
- Repairable with bricks/clay when owner right-clicks
Summoning
- 2 terracotta/clay blocks
- 1 pumpkin
- Place 2 blocks on top of each other (1x2x1), then place pumpkin on top
Gold Golem
Characteristics (Difficulty: Normal)
- Height: 2 blocks
- Health: 200 units
- Armor: 12 points
- Armor toughness: 6
- Knockback resistance: 100%
- Speed: 0.135
- Very long sight range
Special Features
- Charges attacks to shoot powerful piercing laser (15 magic damage) or slam the ground (10-6 generic damage)
- Lasers deal +5 extra damage to undead mobs
- Repairable with gold ingots when owner right-clicks
- Gold is heavy
Summoning
- 8 gold blocks
- 1 pumpkin
- Place all 8 blocks in 2x2x2 cube pattern, then place pumpkin anywhere on top
Diamond Golem
Characteristics (Difficulty: Normal)
- Height: 4.95 blocks
- Health: 400 units
- Armor: 20 points
- Armor toughness: 12
- Attack strength: 20
- Knockback resistance: 100%
- Speed: 0.2
- Short sight range
Special Features
- Sits on throne when owner presses Shift+RMB
- Throne: +10 armor points, +8 armor toughness, cannot move, cannot attack, grants "Unbreakable" effect to all nearby allies
- Owner can sit on diamond golem's throne when right-clicking
- Unbreakable: redirects percentage of damage taken to nearest diamond golem (throne), building up pressure that increases next redirected damage
- Unbreakable for owner: 100%
- Unbreakable for other allies: 50%
- Stands up when owner presses Shift+RMB
- Repairable with diamonds when owner right-clicks
Summoning
- 24 diamond blocks
- 1 pumpkin
- Place all 24 blocks in 2x4x3 rectangle pattern, then place pumpkin anywhere in the middle on top
