Stack Enchants is a Minecraft datapack that solves the problem of inventory clutter caused by duplicate enchanted books. Now you can combine multiple books with the same enchantment into a single item, significantly improving inventory organization and enchanting efficiency.
The system automatically detects identical enchanted books in your inventory and seamlessly merges them, ensuring smoother gameplay without the need for manual duplicate management.

Installation
- Download the Stack Enchants datapack file
- Navigate to the datapacks folder of your Minecraft world
- Place the downloaded datapack in the specified folder
- Enter the world or reload it
- Enjoy automatic enchanted book merging!
How It Works
The system periodically scans your inventory for duplicate enchanted books. When copies are detected (for example, two books with Sharpness I), they automatically merge into one book while preserving all enchantment characteristics. The process runs in the background, requiring no additional player input.

- Minecraft Version: 1.20 and above
- Compatibility: Works with any game loaders
Limitations
Currently, the system only merges books with completely identical enchantments. Combining books with different charm types is not supported.
Development Plans
Future versions are planned to include the ability to merge books with different enchantments (with conflict control), as well as enhanced merging configuration options, including preferred enchantment level selection.
