Staff of Traveling
This mod adds the famous Staff of Traveling and Travel Anchors from EnderIO to Minecraft. This is a port of the popular Travel Anchors addon created by developers CastCrafter, MelanX, and noeppinoeppi.
Main Features
Staff of Traveling allows instant short-distance teleportation. Simply hold Shift and right-click while holding the staff to teleport forward - even through obstacles!
Travel Anchors
These special blocks open up new possibilities for fast travel around the world:
- Place a Travel Anchor and right-click it (without standing on it) to give it a unique name
- To disguise an anchor as another block, place the desired block in your offhand and right-click the anchor with an empty main hand
- While holding the Staff of Traveling, face towards an anchor and right-click for instant teleportation
- Standing on one anchor, you can teleport to another by simply right-clicking in its direction with an empty hand
Elevator Mode
Anchors support vertical movement:
- While on an anchor, press Jump to teleport to an anchor directly above you
- Use Sneak to move to an anchor directly below you
Enchantments
The enchantment system expands functionality:
- Apply Teleportation enchantment to weapons and tools to make them act like the Staff of Traveling
- Enhance the Staff of Traveling with Range enchantment to increase maximum teleportation distance to anchors
