Starlight (Fabric)
A Fabric mod that completely rewrites Minecraft's lighting system, eliminating performance issues and lighting errors.
Compatibility
Starlight can be installed either on a dedicated server or client. Simultaneous installation on both sides is not required. If the mod is running on the server, clients can connect using any option: standard Vanilla, Phosphor, or Starlight. Similarly, when installed on the client, you can connect to servers with Vanilla, Phosphor, or Starlight.
It's important to note that Starlight is incompatible with Phosphor - they cannot be installed together. Since this is a deep overhaul of the lighting system, conflicts with other mods are possible.

Purpose
The mod was created to solve performance issues on large servers where the standard lighting system worked extremely slowly. The only solution was to develop a comprehensive mod that completely rewrites the lighting mechanism. Although this approach may cause incompatibilities with some mods, it provides significant performance improvements.
Performance in Version 1.20
In version 1.20, the performance difference between Starlight and the standard lighting system has become less noticeable. Nevertheless, the mod continues to provide stable operation when editing blocks at high altitudes and during standard lighting updates.
