Starving Totem

📖 About the Modification:

The Starving Totem mod transforms the ordinary Totem of Undying into a real sweet tooth! It turns out this golden amulet simply adores cakes. If you treat it to a piece of cake, it might generously reward you for your care. Of course, children usually shouldn't be given so much sugar, but keeping this totem well-fed and content with cakes will bring you various benefits! However, be careful - if you anger the totem, instead of blessings you'll receive completely different, less pleasant effects...

🎂 Features:

◉ Items:

• Family Altar: A placeable totem that the player can feed with "cakes" to receive its blessing! (Or a curse if not careful)

◉ Effects:

• Sweet Blessing: Gives a chance that the Totem of Undying won't break when used after death (25% probability). The blessing also increases saturation gained from all types of food.

  Sweet Blessing is obtained by feeding the totem on the Family Altar and is lost if angered

• Bitter Curse: The player takes increased damage from all sources and cannot use the Totem of Undying.

  Bitter Curse is obtained when the totem on the Family Altar is angry and is lost by feeding it

Both effects last 10 minutes and cannot be removed by drinking milk.
