Have you ever wondered how truly useful golden armor and tools are in Minecraft? In the standard game they often seem ineffective, but this mod completely changes the situation by revealing their true magical potential.

Main Features

Enhanced Enchantments for Golden Items

All golden armor and tools now receive twice the enchantment level when using enchanting tables, from loot chests, and other enchanting sources. The exception are enchantments with maximum level 1, such as Mending and Silk Touch.

For example, if a normal sword would get Sharpness V enchantment, for a golden sword you will get Sharpness X! Such a golden sword will deal 9.5 attack damage - almost as much as a Netherite axe.

Anvil Upgrading

When combining two equally enchanted golden items on an anvil, you can get enchantments above the standard maximum level - up to double the maximum enchantment value.

Combining two golden swords with Sharpness V creates a sword with Sharpness VI. And by uniting two swords with Sharpness IX, you get a truly powerful weapon with Sharpness X!

Technical Features

The mod adds a special tag gold_tier_items with modifier stay_gold. If you know how to create datapacks, you can add modified golden items to this list so they also receive the benefits of this mod.
