S.T.E.M - Super Transformable Energized Matter!
The mod introduces a liquid called S.T.E.M (Super Transformable Energized Matter) that enables the creation of almost any items and blocks using energy. The system includes several specialized devices and also allows the conversion of liquid to solid forms for decorative and functional purposes.
The mod's concept was inspired by the well-known UU-Matter from IndustrialCraft 2, but adapted for the RF energy system. The production process consists of several stages, each requiring specific equipment.
Key System Components
Main Machines
Liquid Energizer transforms ordinary water into S.T.E.M under the influence of powerful energy flow through electrolysis.
Matter Scanner performs item analysis and stores their molecular data necessary for subsequent recreation. Operation requires specifying an energy source and storage location - either a memory chip or a storage block.
Scanner Storage serves as an archive for storing recipe information. Can be placed near the scanner or receive data through special slots.
Matter Creator uses collected S.T.E.M liquid and stored data to form objects. A substantial amount of energy is required for the physical activation of the transformation process.
Configuration Process
To properly use the mod, recipes need to be pre-configured in the special recipes.csv file. Example entry for diamond:
"minecraft:diamond","0","10"
In this example, the number 10 indicates the required amount of millibuckets of liquid to create one item instance. After such configuration, derivative recipes like diamond blocks are automatically generated.
Multiplayer support is provided through repeated scanning and administrative intervention via console commands like /stem for managing the recipe database.
Worker Equipment
Configuration Wand allows safe disassembly of installations while preserving internal data. Short click controls orientation, while modifier key combination performs careful disassembly.
Memory Chip contains information about objects and serves as a data carrier for transferring between devices.
Future Improvements
The system plans functional enhancement with the ability to read recipes from adjacent storages and convert material into solid stable forms through technological cooperation with a complementary liquid compressor module.
