Stonier Stones - Expanded Stone World in Minecraft
The Stonier Stones mod dramatically expands building possibilities in Minecraft by adding numerous new processing variants for stone blocks. Now you can create polished, brick, chiseled, pillar, and smooth versions of various stones that were previously unavailable.
Which Blocks Get New Variants?
The mod covers a wide range of stone materials: regular stone, granite, diorite, andesite, sandstone, red sandstone, blackstone, basalt, end stone, and deepslate. For most of these blocks, slabs, stairs, and brick walls are now available.
Special attention deserves the new nether brick variants - a chiseled version of red nether bricks has been added, along with a completely new type - blue nether bricks.
Crafting Recipes
All new blocks are created using intuitive recipes:
- Polished blocks: 4 standard blocks in a square
- Bricks: 4 polished blocks in a square
- Chiseled blocks: 2 polished slabs stacked vertically
- Pillars: 2 polished blocks stacked vertically
- Smooth blocks: smelting standard blocks in a furnace
All these blocks can also be created using the stonecutter, making the building process even more convenient.
Additional Elements
The mod introduces a new item - Warped Wart, which is used exclusively for creating blue nether bricks and warped wart blocks. It can be crafted by combining Nether Wart with Warped Roots.
