Stringer Things

Inspired by a concept from PhoenixSC's video, the Stringer Things mod finally brings proper rope tools to Minecraft! Now you don't have to fight bosses to get a silk touch pickaxe.

What the Mod Adds

The mod introduces six new tools and one armor item to the game:

• Rope Pickaxe - As seen in the famous video
• Rope Axe - For cutting trees
• Rope Shovel - Digs dirt
• Rope Hoe - For completionists
• Rope Sword - Makes a "swoooosh" sound
• Rope Mace - Flies with a "yeeeeeeet" sound
• Rope Boots - Allow walking through cobwebs unimpeded

All these items have built-in silk touch (since they're made of rope, of course!) and can be used to harvest the respective blocks they work on. They also function as regular tools, but aren't very durable - after all, they're still made of rope.

This is the first version of the mod, based on a concept that unexpectedly excited me. Will I expand it further? Maybe. If the mod gains traction, who knows - new rope ideas might escape my head and be implemented in the code of this fun mod.
